What was the highlight of Sant'Angelo Suites

Great location and easy to find. Boutique hotel.

Location was beside the main Railway terminal so excellent to get to in terms of travel and access to airport. Breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. Good tea and snacks made availailable in room. Boutique type decor.

Not crazy about only being checked in at 15.00 hrs and checked out by 10.30 hrs. The idea of a room in a hotel is to avail of it. However time in the room is quite limited. There was an extra charge if you needed to stay longer so it is no longer a 24 hr arrangement. Internet did work but there was a need to re fill in information as service broke down more than excpected so reconnection was necessary. Street location for hotel could be a little better. Lighting in the room not great for reading.

Very enjoyable and is only two minutes walk from Central Station which has abundant food halls

Nice hotel in piazza garibaldi, which gets undeserved bad publicity as the police and army presence day and night is super. Our room overlooked the square and the breakfast was very good

Perfect location, service could be better.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Location was perfect.

I needed an extra duvet and pillow cover and I had to go get them myself, only to be handed a big duvet (despite just needing a cover) and being told they didn’t have any clean pillow covers. The breakfast was not good and a lot of the food was gone by 9:00. Waitresses were not particularly kind.

Very Good

Very close to the train station and the underground. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff at the reception. Good breakfast.

The room felt a bit humid and had a bed smell at times. We arrived at breakfast 45 minutes before the end time and the tray of scrambled eggs was empty. When we asked to fill it in again the staff said it was not possible.

Great value.

The hotel is located super close to the train station and bus station (to the airport) - super convenient. There are many high quality restaurants within waking distance. Staff are super nice, and gave awesome recommendations on places to visit and restaurants.

There are too many people congregating outside the hotels as well as open market (small vendors) - feel a little unsafe and unpleasant at times.

Close to the train station. Hotel was sparkling clean. Very generous breakfast included. Staff was friendly. Gave us a bottle of wine on departure. Excellent experience!

A convenient and affordable hotel at the Naples' transport hub

Piazza Garibaldi is the best connected place in the whole Naples. If you intend to visit any of the archeological sites (Pompeii, Ercolano), you save yourself the travel to Piazza Garibaldi if you already stay here. Rooms in otherwise old hotel look recently renovated and include all the amenities (mini safe, mini bar etc.). Our room faced an inner courtyard which doesn't look nice, but is probably less noisy than facing the street. Breakfast buffet was tasty and attempts to satisfy both those who only eat some dolci and cappuccino and those who expect a full English breakfast. The personnel at the reception desk was very friendly and also helped with excellent suggestions of nearby places for dinner. Don't mind the African men sitting on the pavement at night - they are street vendors who are merely guarding their plot of pavement, and don't have any ill intentions.

The window facing the courtyard has permanent blinds on. I'd prefer frosted glass (like in the bathroom) to let some natural light into the room.

Comfortable hotel, dangerous area

Our room was amazing. It was huge, super clean and very very comfortable.

I didn't like the breakfast staff treating the English speakers second class. The breakfast room was full on my first morning so I was standing waiting for a table. Italians eventually lined up behind me and the staff made a point to seat them first. After watching this wide eyed and saying nothing, I was finally seated when no one else was behind me. I was further confused by the staff's intent not to serve me. The Italians at the table next to me, after seeing her blatantly ignore me multiple times, finally said something to her in Italian and pointed to me rather emphatically, and finally I was able to order a coffee. It was all rather confusing and a bit shocking. Maybe this is a locals hotel and they didn't like English speakers? The only other note I would suggest is the area around the hotel is not safe. We had 3 military officers approach us and tell us not to walk in the area. It was alarming when we saw people running away at high speeds and when we looked it was the military on foot patrol. Naturally we moved towards them and talked to them and that's when they told us the area is unsafe for us. They told us where to go that was safe and we had an enjoyable and safe time after their kind help. Thank you for your service.

OK if your priority is to be very close to station for the night.

Easy to find from station although on reflection this was not a good position for a few nights. Clean rooms, friendly staff

On arrival, although staff were friendly, the reception area is nothing more than a corridor. This is most definitely not a 4* hotel. The location next to station was intimidating at night and a long walk from the centre for bars and restaurants. Shortage of coat hangers for 2 people for 4 nights & staff would not provide more when asked. Italy has lovely fresh fruit so why provide tinned pineapple & peaches ??

Wonderful

Spacious clean rooms, very friendly and kind staff. Breakfast is delicious and different each day, coffee is amazing. Location is very good 2-3 walk min from main train station, 15 min walk from old town.

Not a complaint since it does not depend on the hotel, but a lot of homeless people sleeping in the streets in the are, feels a bit unsafe in the night.

Good

Very friendly and helpful staff, the possibility to store luggage after checkout. Comfortable beds but even the room was declared as 4bedroom, two of them were sofas, so suitable for the family with two children. TV with very big screen. Breakfast was average. Great for overnight stay when you need to travel.

Location is loudly, but windows are good and can isolate you from the noise outside.

WiFi basically nonexistent Water for tub not hot Breakfast - can definitely be improved - food was cold, juice is cheap concentrate mixed too strong, service poor, canned food. Area surrounding building feels unsafe, like stepping out into a taxi rank market in Africa, feces and broken glass bottles on the ground, rubbish everywhere, dirty, busy all hours Room not sound-proof - sounds from inside and outside clearly heard

Good value for money with a friendly staff.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and had a huge smart TV.

The area around the hotel is not the nicest (not the hotel’s fault though). Something to be aware of. The breakfast was good but a few things like better juice (not the used juice powder) would be needed. Also the warm food wasn’t warm so better containers to keep the warmth are definitely needed. The TV remote in the room was extremely frustrating as it was not responsive often. Lastly, as a nice gesture we received a bottle of wine upon check out. This was poorly timed as it should definitely be during the check in. As we were going directly to the airport the wine bottle was taken away by the airport security.
